Elevators is a multi-level tactical shooter developed in-house by Metaforce VR Arena, where the fight moves between floors and the only way up or down is by elevator. Every ride is a decision for the team: hold its floor, or go up and hit the enemy from behind. A game takes 4 to 20 players aged 7 and up, with 2 maps included in the Metaforce subscription.

How does a round of Elevators work?
Two teams start on a map built in several levels. Players walk and run around the arena for real, and elevators move them between the levels of the map. The elevator doors open straight into the fight, so any move can turn into a winning flank or a trap.
To win, a team has to split up: some players keep the elevators covered, others push to the upper levels. That is why Elevators is the most demanding shooter in the Metaforce line-up. Good aim is not enough; players need to keep track of what is happening above and below them and keep talking to their team.
Like every free-roam VR shooter from Metaforce, Elevators has no joystick locomotion. Movement in the game matches movement on the floor, so motion sickness is less common than in stick-driven VR.
What maps does Elevators include?
Elevators has 2 maps, and both are built around vertical tactics. Each map is rebuilt around the exact layout of your venue, so the levels, elevator positions and routes fit your play area.
Two maps may sound like few, but the vertical design means the same map plays very differently depending on where each team decides to fight.
Why does Elevators work for an arena business?
Elevators is the game for players who want more. Once a group has played TeamForce or StarForce, it gives them a harder challenge without leaving your venue.
- Keeps experienced players coming back. Teenagers, friend groups and regulars who know the other maps get a new tactical problem to solve.
- Strong for corporate events. Splitting roles and coordinating between floors makes Elevators a natural choice for team building, where communication is the point.
- Same throughput. 4 to 20 players per game; depending on the size of your arena, 8 to 12 or more play at once.
- Built for your venue. Maps are adapted to your floor plan.
- Updates every 6 months. New maps and games are part of the subscription.
In a vr shooter arena, a game like Elevators gives your line-up depth: easy entry with TeamForce, visual variety with StarForce, and a tough tactical game for regulars. More on building a balanced line-up on our VR arena games page.
What does a venue need to run Elevators?
The same setup as all Metaforce games: a play area of 50 to 300 m², a level floor and ceilings from 2.5 m. The multi-level design is virtual: your arena stays a single flat floor. Headsets, computers and tracking can be bought from any supplier.
Want to run Elevators at your arena?
Elevators comes with the Metaforce VR Arena subscription along with the other released games. There is no franchise fee, no royalties and no marketing fee; the subscription starts at $4,990 for six months, taxes included. Details are on the franchise cost page.
FAQ
Does my arena need several floors to run Elevators?
No. The levels exist only in the game. Players move on one level floor, and elevators move them between levels of the map.
Is Elevators suitable for kids?
The age rating is 7+, but the difficulty is high. For children's parties and first-time groups, operators usually start with TeamForce or Mini Games and keep Elevators for returning players.
Who is Elevators best for?
Groups that have already tried TeamForce or StarForce and want harder tactics: friend groups, teenagers and colleagues at corporate events.
How many players does Elevators support?
4 to 20 players per game, with 8 to 12 or more playing at once depending on the size of the arena.
